Batushka - Hospodi

“Polunoszcznica” is the first single from upcoming Batushka album “Hospodi”

Named after an Old Church Slavonic word for “God,” “Hospodi” enhances all the unique qualities that made the band such an instant phenomenon, while offering an entirely distinct and fresh sensory experience. The album boasts the most ferocious and bewitching songs the band has penned to date – along with a newfound sense of rock swagger.

Majestica - Above The Sky

Majestica’s Night Call Girl is single!

“‘Night Call Girl’ is a huge tribute to the 80’s metal we grew up with. It’s a mix between Gary Moore, Rick Springfield, Europe and Journey. The lyrics are all about the classical catch phrases they used in those days and it has one of the best “sing along” choruses on the album. Power metal doesn’t go far away from 80’s metal so that’s why we felt that this tribute to our 80’s hair metal heroes fits great on »Above The Sky«.”

Mind Key

Mind Key finds “Hate at First Sight”

“We all had a metal/hard rock/prog backgrounds, but we felt that our playing style was changing towards a more direct and concise approach,” says Lucio Grilli. “And our way to conceive the songs was influenced as well. In addition to that, we were also looking for something more suitable for Aurelio’s powerful voice, something closer to rock/metal to fully let his voice be heard. It’s more natural for us to talk about MK simply as a melodic metal band than a prog metal one.”

Hate - Auric Gates Of Veles

Hate launches video for “Sovereign Sanctity”

The centerpiece of the album is arguably the six and a half minute epic thunder of “Sovereign Sanctity”, which demands the full attention of the listener from start to finish. “We wanted the songs to sound like anthems, and ‘Sovereign Sanctity’ is a perfect example of such a song. I think it’s also one of the best we have written in years,” Sinner states.
