Cellar Darling launch video that will make you Freeze

Cellar Darling

Cellar Darling are: Anna Murphy (vocals, hurdy-gurdy, multi-instrumentalist), Merlin Sutter (drums) and Ivo Henzi (guitars, bass)

As previously reported here at Stargazed Magazine, Switzerland’s Cellar Darling released “The Spell” on March 22nd, a concept album about a girl who falls in love with death. This haunting concept album sees the band taking a turn towards heavy progressive rock while still staying true to their folk roots translated through the unmistakable sound of the hurdy hurdy.

Their latest video offering is ‘Freeze’ – crushing, captivating and haunting! Another chapter in the tale of a girl who falls in love with death, carried by Ivo Henzi’s groovy riffs, the energy of Merlin Sutter’s powerhouse drumming, and the unforgettable voice of Anna Murphy who takes you through enormous highs and deepest lows as she sings the story of »The Spell«.

Watch ‘Freeze’ here:

“For if to love is to die, will you with your breath please freeze me to death? As it is getting warmer, to reminisce of the cold that has passed, we release the lyric video to ‘Freeze’. Once again created by the visionary Costin Chioreanu. We hope you enjoy it.” – Anna, Ivo & Merlin

»The Spell« is available on all digital platforms as well as in physical collector’s editions version as a 2LP black vinyl or a limited edition 2CD digibook featuring an audiobook of Anna narrating the story of »The Spell«.
