From Rise And Shine Album With Smash Into Pieces

“The bands big breakthrough came in 2017 with the release of their third album, “Rise and Shine”. This album introduced “The Apocalypse DJ” into the band as a member/ superhero / drummer / DJ. Having followed the band from day one, the mystical character now joined the band, replacing Isak Snow and Viktor Vidlund. With the new line-up, the album included more electronic / EDM elements, giving the album a unique sound. Combined with great songs, the album made an impression throughout the world and the bands number of followers and streams skyrocketed! The band started their most intense touring period to date and gained a reputation of delivering great live shows, always giving the audience something extra. “The Apocalypse DJ” always displays some of his superhero skills or takes a ride on his mobile drumkit, taking live drumming to a new level. After extensive touring and with the momentum of “Rise and Shine”, the band went straight into the studio to record the next album. The songs and sound evolved even further into a unique mix of rock, pop and electro, this time giving more room for the pop and electronic elements. The result was ”Evolver”, released in 2018. The album made Smash Into Pieces a trend-setter in the genre, constantly being one step ahead. With a total of 100 million streams on Spotify, over 60 shows executed all over Scandinavia, big parts of the EU, Russia and North America where the band received the honor of supporting the two world famous acts Within Temptation and In Flames Smash Into Pieces grew faster than ever before . With 7 months of hectic touring ending in April 2019, Smash Into Pieces started the recording of their fifth studio album, *ARCADIA*..!
