Gin Lady offers “Sweet Country Livin’” under a “Tall Sun Crooked Moon”

Swedish classic rockers Gin Lady rose out of the ruins of the excellent heavy progressive rock band Black Bonzo, who released three album between 2004 and 2009. Band members has kept changing since the self-titled debut as Gin Lady in 2012, delivering “Mother’s Ruin” (2013) and “Call The Nation” (2015) along the way, the latter title even dating back to the pre-Black Bonzo band The Gypsy Sons of Magic.

The rootsy vibes of 2017’s most excellent “Electric Earth” are evolved further on “Tall Sun Crooked Moon”, their new album that will be available on vinyl, CD and digital through Kozmik Artifactz on May 24th.

Excellent musicianship, vocal harmonies, freedom and beautifully crafted songs with a message is to be expected from these bliss merchants’ fifth album. A first taste is now available in the form of “Sweet Country Livin’”, taking the listeners on a twangy journey towards Laurel Canyon.
