Mystic Prophecy is about to release “Hellriot”

Mystic Prophecy – “Hellriot” (2023) Taken from the band’s upcoming album “Hellriot” that will be released on May 19, 2023

The indomitable will to succeed, according to the motto “It’s a long way to the top if you wanna RnR” was the drive for Mystic Prophecy in the last two decades. As a result, the band, founded by R.D.Liapakis in 2001, has developed in a determined and persistent manner into a mighty heavy metal machine that stands for unadulterated riff power and old-school spirit, combined with modern zeitgeist, like hardly any other band on European soil. Already with the first three albums ‘Vengeance’ (2002), ‘Regressus’ (2003) and ‘Never Ending’ (2004) the band showed their high musical competence.

At that time even Ozzy Osbourne noticed the class of the then Mystic Prophecy exceptional guitarist GUS G. (Arch Enemy, Dream Evil, Firewind) so much that he poached him for his band. But setbacks like this ultimately only strengthen the South German power roller on its unwavering path to the Heavy Metal Olympus and so the metal machine with a changed line-up achieves new top performances. With the arrival of guitarist Markus Pohl, a second constant comes into the troupe and the power level increases again to a higher level. Successful tours with Freedom Call, among others, established the band even more in the scene and they played with the other albums `Savage Souls` (2006), `Satanic Curses` (2007), `Fireangel` (2009) and `Ravenlord` (2011). into the premier league of the European power metal scene.

Further tours with Death Angel, Stratovarius, Powerwolf, Majesty, Grave Digger etc. and big festival appearances at Prog Power, SummerBreeze, Metalfest or NOAF show that Mystic Prophecy is a lasting guarantee for unadulterated heavy metal. Uncompromisingly “true, and right between the eyes” is the motto. Even if the line-up changes from time to time, the core of the band always works undeterred and goal-oriented. Shows with Loudness, Sabaton, Primal Fear etc. as well as other festival shows in Wacken, Earthshaker Fest., Metal Camp etc. ensure further popularity.
