Nailed To Obscurity unveil video for “Black Frost” title track ahead of tour with Amorphis, Soilwork and Jinjer

Germany’s Nailed To Obscurity have developed a distinctive style between melodic death metal and doom with progressive influences. They’ve toured with Dark Tranquillity and appeared alongside acts such as Arch Enemy, Paradise Lost and At The Gates in the past.

Joining up with Amorphis, Soilwork and Jinjer, Nailed To Obscurity will tour Europe next year, including Scandinavian stops in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo. See all dates further down this page!

Nuclear Blast will release their next album, »Black Frost«, on January 11, 2019.
The band now unleash the album’s title track in a video directed and produced by Dirk Behlau:

Vocalist Raimund Ennenga “While we try to route our sanity through daily grind and to skip facing our fears, our darkest emotions are able to create a burden in secrecy – they are able to cause our mind to capsize. We tried to capture this atmosphere in the lyrics and the music of our song ‘Black Frost’. A sinister maelstrom.”

»Black Frost« features 7 brand new extensive tracks, which absorb the listener with its stunning atmosphere, without sacrificing the band’s remarkable sound. The album was recorded at Woodshed Studio (near Landshut, Germany) with producer V. Santura (TRIPTYKON, DARK FORTRESS, BARREN EARTH, OBSCURA etc.), the artwork was once again designed by Santiago Caruso.
