Primal Fear will release their highly anticipated 13th studio album, “Metal Commando” on July 24th. The title of the album is self-explainatory – “Metal Commando” contains 110% PRIMAL FEAR and is full to the brim with their signature power and energy. Last month, the band released the first single “Along Came The Devil” and also kicked off the pre-order for physical products. Today, the second single “I Am Alive” is released digitally

 

“I Am Alive” is the opening track of the new album and a statement in these rough times. Between the speed of the double bass drumming plus grooves and fat guitar riffs, is one of the best Primal Fear hooks ever. You can look forward to a real banger of a song that is representative of our new album – “Metal Commando”.”, comments bassist and producer Mat Sinner.

Sit down and get your notebook ready for a quick lesson in serpents – when a snake’s skin gets too tight, the creature sheds it. The same snake emerges beneath however now rejuvenated, bigger and ultimately more powerful. This process could also be used to describe Germany’s most reliable heavy metal export, Primal Fear, on their crushing new record “Metal Commando”. The band have cast their old skin to reveal the same relentless unit underneath, however now showcasing their new growth in many directions.
