They have just released the text video for the rock hard new song Freight Train. Adrian Vandenberg says this about the song: “Like a freight train! It is a song about character, will and perseverance. Properties we all need in difficult times like these. We have them !!


“Vandenberg” is back! Back with new members and a new album. It comes back screaming and with rumbling, riff-like riffs as if they had never disappeared. 2020 is released May 29 on Mascot Records.

“Vandenberg” – A name with a glorious past. Easy by master guitarist Adrian Vandenberg gave the Dutch the quartet released three fantastic records in the early and mid 80’s where the self titled debut gave the band a hit single in the United States with Burning Heart. They toured the US, Japan and Europe with artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, KISS, Rush, Scorpions and Michael Schenker. Adrian was a member of Whitesnake for thirteen years when the band was on top and playing the solo on theirs top performer Here I Go Again and also joined the super group Manic Eden and more recently Vandenberg’s MoonKings.

The guitarist made a genesis when he brought with him the Chilean-born singer Ronnie Romero who created a phenomenal reputation in recent years as a member of Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow. The rhythm section of the new team lineup consists of bassist Randy van der Elsen (from the NWOBHW heroes Tank) and drummer Koen Herfst (Bobby Kimball (Toto), Epica and Doro).
Two celebrity guests are also heard on the record: bassist Rudy Sarzo (Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Dio, Queensryche) and drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne Foreigner, Billy Idol).
