Bandbond – the new app that will bring metal bands and fans together

Dark Tranquillity keyboardist Martin Brändström and journalist Mattias Lindeblad have launched Bandbond, a new smartphone app that is being billed as a “revolution for the metal community”. The idea of Bandbond started out of frustration some years ago when Brändström was in charge of the band’s online social media. It quickly became clear to him that the communication with the fans that the band had earned over the years by touring the world and recording albums now had a gatekeeper in the shape of drastically increased price tags set by the social media giants.

What is Bandbond? Here’s a short introduction:

– The Bandbond app is 100% hard rock and metal.
– All of your bands’ and your band members’ official social media feeds will be filtered down to one single feed in the platform. There’s no risk for double posting. Bandbond has an algorithm that prevents an identical post to appear twice in your feed.
– You can choose to include your official links from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter that are open for everybody.
– Bandbond also produces exclusive high quality content that will be published within the app and be shareable to other social media platforms.
– With Bandbond you will also reach the fans who are not active on any of the established social media platforms.
– Bandbond is 100% free. As a band you will never pay to be part of Bandbond, and we will never put a price tag on the communication between you and your fans.
