Conny Bloom forced to cancel gig, gets to Bring It Home
As previously reported here at Stargazed Magazine, Electric Boys will release the 6-track EP “Gone Gone Gone” on April 12th. The Electric Boys frontman Conny Bloom also recently released the solo album “Game! Set! Bloom!” but a planned release gig at the record store Sound Pollution had to be cancelled due to the corona outbrak. A live stream was set up instead, something the proved successful and inspired the independent companies MTA Production, Bring It Home and Sonika Studio to set up a live streaming service from Stockholm’s Sonika Studio.
The companies will now let other artists forced to cancel their physical concerts to do them digitally instead. The studio is located at Södermalm in Stockholm and set up with a variety of instruments. It’s easily accessible without having to use public transportation, making it relatively “safe” to go there to perform. Viewers will be asked to pay for the service through Swish or bank transfer. Half of the money will go to the artists while the rest goes to those providing the services and funds that will provide for artists that are losing money due to the virus.
