Faroese doom metal bands Hamferð and Svartmálm announces Scandinavian tour in december
Faroese Doom Metal act Hamferð released ‘Támsins likam’ on Metal Blade Records earlier this year and has toured Central Europe extensively.
After 8 years of international tours they will now make their first visit to Sweden, as part of an exclusive tour of Scandinavia, following shows in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. See dates below.
Singer Jón Aldará adds: “Doing a proper tour for our neighbours in the North has been on our wish-list for a long time now. We are thrilled that it is finally happening, and that we have been able to include Sweden. Not having played there yet is close to being a tragedy. Also, going back to Norway and Denmark is a treat, since they have always been incredibly kind to us. There’s no denying that we have a close cultural bond with our Nordic brothers and sisters, so this tour will be a special experience without a doubt.”
Joining them on the Scandinavian part of the tour will be the Faroese blackened doomsters Svartmálm, having released their eponymous debut album in February.
