Gloryhammer, Lagerstein and Attick Demons to play at Sabaton Open Air 2019

Sabaton Open Air 2019 has now added Gloryhammer, Lagerstein and Attick Demons to the line-up which in addition to Sabaton themselves also features Manimal, Visions of Atlantis, Brothers of Metal, Serenity and Grailknights.

As reported earlier here at Stargazed Magazine, the festival will be held at Lugnet in Falun, Sweden on August 14-17, 2019.

Gloryhammer

In the very likely event of an invasion of undead unicorns this Summer, there’s no danger of the party stopping at Falun – because we’ll be under the protection of the mighty Angus McFife and his band Gloryhammer. The five-piece symphonic power metal band, formed by Alestorm frontman Chris Bowes in 2010, has released two albums – with rumours of a third on the way – and their songs are themed around their own hilarious wizards and warriors mythology, featuring the evil wizard Zargothrax and noble warrior Angus McFife.

Attick Demons

The New Wave of British Heavy Metal is coming to Falun in 2019 – but it’s coming via Portugal thanks to Attick Demons, the next confirmed act for Sabaton Open Air. Attick Demons have been flying the flag for traditional heavy metal ever since their formation in 1996, bringing speed, melodies and a power vocal that take the listener back to the heyday of NWOBHM.

Lagerstein

Rum filled cellars, beer wall to wall… yarrrharrrharrr. What a glorious day for the S.S. Plunderberg and my crew. It’s been 40 days since we found the greatest treasure. Worth more than the entirety of all the gold, silver, and bronze throughout the seven skies. This rum has no equal. This rum tastes superb. Now Lagerstein with beer bongs in hands, we take to the skies. You may think you’ve tasted the finest of rums, the purest of ales. But never before has the world experienced a rumtastic party of this magnitude. By the time you finish reading this, we’ll have already set sail. On-deck of the S.S. Plunderberg is a crew of 15 hungry-for-fun party pirates, having completed the recording of their second album “All For Rum & Rum For All”. Our itinerary be simple; visiting every tavern, stopping at every port, partying with all the locals and drinking all sorts. Now, you bring your stein and hat. And we’ll bring the jungle juice, beer and rum. All who endeavour will forever join the Lagercrew on this never ending venture for fun.
