Swedish Death ’n’ Roll machine Jesus Chrüsler Supercar will release their third album “Lücifer” through Dr. Music Records on May 24th. CD, vinyl, digital are available for pre-order.
Featuring artwork by Joshua Michael Wilkinson, “Lücifer” is a malicious, fierce album that merges influences from dirty Heavy Rock, Doom, Stoner and old school Death Metal into an original diabolical brew.
The tradition of brilliant video clips for Jesus Chrüsler Supercar singles (“Killing Machine“, “Pitchfork”, “God Gave Me Nothing”, “From Hell” and “Let It Roll”) will be followed by Pär Brännström’s new music video for the first single, “Lucifer”, to become available on April 26th, 2019.
Jesus Chrüsler Supercar have toured with bands like Clutch, Spiritual Beggars and Warrior Soul, and played at festivals such as Wacken Open Air. In October, the band will once more hit the road. See all confirmed dates further down this page!
On the joint European tour with Bullet and Screamer last year, fans got a chance to hear new guitarist Tobbe Engdahl and the quality of the title track “Lücifer” along with the mangy uptempo rocker Flesh ’n’ Bones”.
The release of “Lücifer” follows closely on the EP “Holy Chrüst – Horn Alley Live Session”, released in February and featuring songs by Motörhead, Danzig, MC5 and Bob Dylan. These can also be heard in the video below:

Led by their axe swinging front man Robban Bergeskans, the Stockholm pack, consisting of drum machine Nicke Forsberg and former Refused guitarist Pär Jaktholm, has once again entrenched itself in the legendary Sunlight Studio. With Claes Nordin (Mass Worship) and Peter Hallgren (Sorcerer), two well-known Swedish Metal musicians have also left their mark with guest appearances on “Lücifer”.
The album was recorded by no one less than the legendary producer Tomas Skogsberg (Entombed, The Hellacopters, Amorphis) while Nicke’s brother Fred Forsberg (Mass Worship, Anchor, Gust) is responsible for the mix. The mastering has been done by Brad Boatright from Audiosiege (Converge, C.O.C., Black Tusk). In the end, “Lücifer” hits the perfect sound between the 90s’ dirty rough Rock ‘n‘ Roll and the up to date Death ’n’ Roll mace!
