Live review – Sabaton Open Air 2019: Attick Demons

9/10

There are not many people in front of the stage. If you look inside the beer tent you find the most people  waiting for the next band.

Portuguese band Attick Demons entered the scene just as the rain reached the festival area. The band delivered hard fast metal of class. The quality cannot be complained about, they fit well into the festival program. The energy and the smiles from the band ensures you that they love to play their music. Singer Artur Almeida is of high class and it would not surprise me if he has Bruce Dickinson as his role model. His voice is sometimes very similar to the legendary singer of Iron Maiden. The two guitarists Luís Figueira and Nuno Martins complement each other and they harmonize well. The drummer Ricardo Oliveira does his job behind the drums without one mistakes. If you missed the band’s performance during the festival, you missed a good gig. It wouldn’t surprise me if these gentlemen are on a stage in Sweden again soon.
