Sabaton announces quadruple platinum status for the Carolus Rex album

The band states on their Instagram earlier today:

“Carolus Rex reaches quadruple platinum status

We can barely pronounce the word quadruple, let alone express what we felt when we heard this incredible news: Carolus Rex has gone platinum for a fourth time!What’s even more special is that this success comes exactly 300 years after the death of the real Carolus Rex, the inspiration for the album.

To celebrate, we will be releasing a number of limited editions of this album on 30 November – precisely 300 years from the day King Carolus died and the Swedish Empire ended.”
