As reported earlier here at Stargazed Magazine, Sabaton Open Air 2019 will be held at Lugnet in Falun, Sweden on August 14-17, 2019. In addition to Sabaton themselves, the line-up also features Borknagar, Manimal, Visions of Atlantis, Brothers of Metal, Serenity, Grailknights, Gloryhammer, Lagerstein, Utmarken, Attick Demons, Arkona, Bloodbound, Ensiferum, Alestorm and Crystal Viper.

Three more names have now been added to their line-up: Elvenking, Apocalyptica and U.D.O.

This band almost needs no introduction after bringing their huge, uncompromising metal sound to audiences all around the world during a stunning 30+ year career. Udo Dirkschneider and his band U.D.O.! After releasing their 16th studio album – Steelfactory – earlier this year to strong reviews worldwide, U.D.O. proved that they still give as good as they get, and are guaranteed to deliver a not-to-be-missed show at Sabaton Open Air.

Finnish metal cellists Apocalyptica.  Nobody else could make this beautiful orchestral instrument sound so heavy! If that was not special enough, the Finns have promised to perform their epic Metallica setlist in Falun There’s only One place you should want to Escape to this summer – Nothing Else Matters but to join us at Sabaton Open Air as we Welcome Home the magnificent Apocalyptica.

Italian folk-metallers Elvenking are coming back to Falun for the second time, bringing with them a sprinkling of fairy dust and a lot of impossibly catchy violin riffs! The band take their inspiration from folk music and dance from around the world – and with an impressive nine albums to their name, there’s sure to be something in their set for every nation at our festival.
