Remember Gotthard. Sure you do! Remember Steve Lee. Well now we will never have a singer like that, but Shakra fill the shoes of what Gotthard might have continue on with the late mr Lee. Convincingly following the path of that band but still manage to do something personal of it. A friend of mine called it LA classic Hard rock, and that is close but leave the hairspray out of the comparison.The singer Mark Fox called it Swiss fucking rock n roll.

The band seem to have quite a fanbase by the looks of the size of the crowd. A band that truly deserve a support slot to a big name to let the world know of its existence. I could even stand in line to have dinner and enjoy what I heard, almot forgetting to order my food.

The band also, in my opinion, was a great link between the afternoon gigs and what’s to come.
During the set there were once again proof that hard rock bands is the only ones who get away with doing good ballads.
