This symphonic metal band started walking their path in Austria in 2000, and has since then had a few lineup changes down the road leading up to this, their seventh full-length album. Step by step they build up this atmospheric land…soundscape and take us all on a journey to remember, with the universe and stars as travel companions.
There is so much beauty in the singing shared by Clémentine Delauney and Michele Guaitoli as they lead us through the eleven tracks, especially in the very emotional third song, ”Nothing Lasts Forever”.
Sometimes there are just a little too much theatrical opera tendencies, and that is when my mind goes wandering off and loses interest for a while, but then they manage to get me back on track again.
”Wanderers” truly is a journey, an adventure. Climbing the highest mountains, sailing the stormiest seas, walking the wildest forests, crawling through the sandiest deserts…all accompanied by the amazing quote from J.R.R. Tolkien – ”Not all those who wander are lost”
