Let me start by apologizing to all the Pantera fans out there. I feel a bit like the music journalists in the Swedish tabloids when I grew up. They got to review hard rock bands despite the fact that they hated everything about hard rock. It took a long time before the biggest newspapers started hiring people who actually appreciated hard rock and knew anything about it.

It is not that I carry a dislike for Pantera. I never really listened to them, apart from some occasional song that was goodish. I am basically a NWOBHM guy. I honestly went to this gig kind of expecting to like it, but I didn’t. I don’t really know how to review this. It probably sounds like it is intended to do. It is just that I think this is rubbish. The problem is most likely me and not Pantera. It is just a wall of sounds – no melodies, no riffs, no nothing – apart from noise.

I guess I peak as a boomer, expert level, with this. But there was really nothing I liked about it.
