Sator took to the stage at lunch time on Friday and it’s pretty much like any other Sator gig – great! There are few bands I have seen so many times over the last 30+ years and they always deliver. I have not seen them underachieve even once. Today was no exception.
Sator presented us with a setlist consisting mainly of older material, with the addition of a few cover songs as well. They have always been a band with a lot of humour and good crowd contact and an early slot on the stage actually fitted them perfectly. Maybe the Rock Stage is a bit too big – Sator likes to come close with the fans.
They are tight and those who came to see them despite the early slot did not regret it.
