The band’s sophomore album, “Emerald Seas,” is a highly emotional, dark, and theatrical epic.
The band collaborated with Sascha Paeth (Avantasia, Kamelot, Epica, etc), who mixed and mastered the album. Incidentally, Adrienne Cowan was handpicked by Paeth to front his new band, Sascha Paeth’s Masters of Ceremony and she is also one of the touring vocalists for the hugely popular Avantasia.
Aldo submitted some song ideas to Zak, which were reminiscent of the classic Savatage sound of records such as “Edge Of Thorns” and “Gutter Ballet”.
The new songs are heavier, more intense, and more melodic.

Brazilian vocalist, pianist and composer Andre Matos died on June 8th following a heart attack. Having become an international name through his time fronting Angra, Matos was also associated with Viper, Shaaman, Symfonia and Avantasia. Since 2006, Matos had been dedicating his time primarily to his solo band.
Offering a wide range of styles within the metal spectrum, from aggressive and straight forward metal songs, to more melodic and symphonic tracks, “Signs Of Wings” by Sascha Paeth’s Masters Of Ceremony has a bit of everything and is certainly going to strike fans of Sascha’s as one of the most inventive, complete, and exciting releases in the metal genre in 2019.
