This was the song that started it all. The perfect representation of most of the elements that form our music: melody, technique, a simple song structure, guitar/keyboard leads and speed. Lyrically, it’s about my beliefs in the universe and the ability we have to harness its power.
Following the success of the Pumpkins United World Tour Helloween have announced they will release a live album and a DVD/Blu-ray, “United Alive”, from this tour. On October 4th we can transport ourselves to the tour anytime, and dive into every detail with hellish tracking shots, breathless close-ups, and intimate interviews.
Brazilian vocalist, pianist and composer Andre Matos died on June 8th following a heart attack. Having become an international name through his time fronting Angra, Matos was also associated with Viper, Shaaman, Symfonia and Avantasia. Since 2006, Matos had been dedicating his time primarily to his solo band.
The album, the music and the lyrics all seek to empower the listener and remind them that THEY are masters of their destiny and what happens in their lives.
“‘Night Call Girl’ is a huge tribute to the 80’s metal we grew up with. It’s a mix between Gary Moore, Rick Springfield, Europe and Journey. The lyrics are all about the classical catch phrases they used in those days and it has one of the best “sing along” choruses on the album. Power metal doesn’t go far away from 80’s metal so that’s why we felt that this tribute to our 80’s hair metal heroes fits great on »Above The Sky«.”

Nuclear Blast has announced the signing of Swedish symphonic power metal act Majestica. Before Tommy Johansson joined Sabaton he was busy playing in his own band named ReinXeed. Now they are back with a new album and a new name; Majestica.
Witherfall will release the widely acoustic “Vintage – EP” on March 22nd, 2019. “A Tale That Wasn’t Right” has now been released as the third single from this EP. This track was originally recorded by Helloween and released on the classic “Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part I” album in 1987.
“Keeper Of The Seven Keys: The Legacy” and “Gambling With The Devil” will be re-released on both vinyl and CD.
