Helloween – United Alive in Madrid

When it gets near the end, it doesn’t, because this album never seems to end! And I mean that in a good way, of course. Once you first think they’ve finished, you’ll be surprised how many hits still lie ahead! It just keeps going and going and going… And I love every minute of it.

Michael Schenker Fest – Revelation

At the center of this project is of course four great vocalists: Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet, Robin McCauley and Doogie White. These are all great singers, so to hear them all together sure is a real fest!

They have the power, the emotion and the energy and this time they strike all the right notes. “Another State of Grace” proves once and for all that they are one of the best providers of classic hard rock out there today. Don’t miss it for the world!

Sonata Arctica – Talviyö

So, a few songs in the middle are actually kind of good. “Who Failed the Most” and the…ehm instrumental “Ismo´s Got Good Reaction” is listenable and almost enjoyable. At least compared to the rest of the record. But after that peak it is all downhill again I’m afraid.

Germany-based rock overlords Kadavar will release their anticipated new album, “For The Dead Travel Fast”, on October 11th via Nuclear Blast. The epic western movie styled music video was shot in Fuerteventura and stars actress Lucie Aron as well as the band’s members Lupus, Tiger and Dragon.

Destruction – Born To Perish

“Tyrants of the Netherworld” is a furious and brutal assault on our ears that shows off the bands best hooks and riffs on the album. This song must have been the newcomers audition song. I wouldn´t want to be in Randy Blacks clothes after this one. “We Breed Evil” is the albums “nothing to see here-move on” song. Still with great groove and those furious guitars.
