Geoff Tate to release new album under the moniker Sweet Oblivion

Sweet Oblivion sees former Queensrÿche and current Operation: Mindcrime singer Geoff Tate teaming up with a stellar cast of Italian musicians led by Simone Mularoni, the mastermind of prog metal act DGM. This new project is about to release a new album on June 14th and marks a return to the more melodic metal style for Tate.

Queensrÿche announce shows in Sweden and Norway

Legendary American metal act Queensrÿche announce that they will be coming to Scandinavia for three shows in November. Opening act and special guest for these shows are Firewind, the brain child of renowned guitarist Gus G (Ozzy Osbourne).
