MY THOUGHTS
”Rising” is undeniable a classic milestone in the history of rock. This album represents Ritchie Blackmore and Ronnie James Dio in their prime. “Rising” is by many regarded as one of the best rock albums ever made. That is stretching it way too far in my opinion since not all tracks found here are perfect. But the highlights, like the 8-minute-long “Stargazer”, are nothing but amazing and among the best I’ve heard in rock music. I also must mention the iconic cover art which also bears the classic trademark.
