MY THOUGHTS
Disneyland After Dark (nowadays renamed as D-A-D due to a certain multinational company which forced them to change) have been one of my personal favourites ever since their debut album “Call Of The Wild” (1986). Strong melodies, clever and quirky lyrics and an own expression are some of their strengths and the reason why I have stayed true to the Danes throughout the years. And you just must love the two-string basses that Stig Pedersen have presented on stage during his career. My absolute favourite of all his models is the one that looks like an olive with a toothpick. Google and find out for yourselves! The first five albums in their discography are all great, but “No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims” is definitely the one closest to my heart.
