MY THOUGHTS
Katatonia is one of those bands that I have come to worship during the years. I am extremely weak for the melancholic landscapes they paint. On top of that we have vocalist Jonas Renkse, everything he touches turns to gold in my humble opinion. Despite quite limited resources he manages to create goosebumps with his vocal delivery. Katatonia’s discography is packed with great albums, but if the band have a weakness it is that a lot of them are somewhat uneven. Their 2016 offering “The Fall Of Hearts” is an exception from that rule since its one of their strongest albums as a whole.
